Thanks for the compliment. I'm still getting the hiccups quite often. Usually
two or three times a week. Actually I had a pretty good case of them a couple of
weeks ago at work. At the time, I was sick with a really bad cold, and for some
reason I started getting the hiccups in the morning. I was in the office with
one other guy, monitoring servers, and I suddenly started hiccuping really hard.
I mentioned to my coworker that I had the hiccups and he laughed. I didn't want
to have the hiccups, so I started drinking some water to try to stop them. But
most of the time, when I do that, they only stop for about 5 minutes then start
up again. After I finished drinking a glass of water, my coworker walked around
the behind me, like he was waiting for me to hiccup. But I didn't, he stood
there for about 3-4 minutes. ( Maybe he was going to scare me) I couldn't tell
if he was one of us. The guy sat back down at his desk and a minute later I
started to hiccup again. They were really hard, they made a thump sound in my
chest when I kept my mouth closed. But at least they didn't hurt too bad. About
10 minutes later they went away. The next time I got them was after I got home
from work, then I had the hiccups for about 1/2 hour then they stopped on their
own.
